Sun Yimeng

Sun Yimeng is a young Chinese illustrator based in France. She graduated from the China Academy of Art and later pursued her studies in France, earning a degree from the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris.

Her works are imbued with a romantic French sensibility, skillfully blending delicate expression with playful and whimsical elements. As an illustrator, she has created illustrations for notable publications such as Le Monde and Le Figaro Magazine. She has also collaborated with brands including Galeries Lafayette, Rivoli 86, Joy City, Nongfu Spring, Snowdragon, Dongfeng Nissan, Shanghai Select, MARNI, and more.

2020: Participation in the Sino-European Illustration Exhibition; her work La vie won the Excellence Award at the Hiii Illustration International Competition

2022: Created illustrations for the African International Water Exhibition

2024: Solo exhibition On the Road in Paris

In 2020, she published the children’s book "Visiting a Museum". In 2022, she released her personal illustrated book "Every Day in Paris". In 2024, she published "The Century-old Shops of Paris", which was also released in a Korean edition the same year.
